Extremely unprofessional. They arrived in a Prius, not a work truck. They found the washing machine bearing was old which is fine. However when examining the machine, the broke the cold water main water line and didn’t take precautions. Water poured all the way down through the ceiling gushing and ruined my whole ceiling. They should have turned the water off as a normal procedure and did not. Very very unprofessional. They should pay for the damage because they broke the water line.Horrible experience and now I have to pay for repair of all the water damage. They didn’t have to break the pipe doing their work and blame it on the age of the pipe. And my washer is irreparable per their inspection. And of course after all of the above I was still charged a service fee.

Hello Angie,
We understand your frustration about the happened accident. To prevent flooding we always turn off the valve that’s directly supplies cold water to the washer. We do not turn off the main valve as we work directly with an appliance only. While we stared to turn off the valve PVC supply pipe cracked. This happened because the pipe was too old and become yellow and when we touched it, it cracked, we didn't even turn the valve to shut off the water.
We inspected the washer machine and detected the issue which was the bearing and gasket replacement. However, due to the age of the washer machine, the replacement of these parts will be quite expensive which is doesn't worth it and you refused the repair.
We did all possible measures to prevent serious consequences: turned off the main water supply and wiped all the water from the floor and it dipped from ceiling.
We would be glad to fix the pipe, but we are not licensed in plumbing and are not allowed to do that.
All we can offer in this situation is to refund the service call fee or make a 50% discount for any further work.
P.S. We came on a personal vehicle because our work truck is in repair service. Sorry for that.
