What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can either agree on a set price or agree on my hourly rate. I always am very upfront and want to be on the same page. I let you decide.
For hourly, I charge a minimum of 2 hours to cover my expenses and time getting to you to get the job done, of course it is for the first 2 hours of work as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure it is a good fit for both of us. There is not much I can’t do when it comes to fixing or building but if if it isn’t something I am comfortable doing I will let you know.
We agree on a date and time to get the job started.
We agree on a set price or my hourly rate and I show up to get the job started and get it done.
If you want to book me in advance for a future date, I ask for a small deposit to block off my time for you and that will apply towards the work I do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I have been doing renovations since 1999, there is no better training than hands on training and there is no substitute for experience.
