The job he did was phenomenal and I am so grateful. I have had multiple negative interactions with Handyman over the past year and it is so nice to work with someone so professional and so upfront. New Key Management was able to respond to our home within hours of requesting assistance. Their work was top notch. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can either agree on a set price or agree on my hourly rate. I always am very upfront and want to be on the same page. I let you decide. For hourly, I charge a minimum of 2 hours to cover my expenses and time getting to you to get the job done, of course it is for the first 2 hours of work as well.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I make sure it is a good fit for both of us. There is not much I can’t do when it comes to fixing or building but if if it isn’t something I am comfortable doing I will let you know. We agree on a date and time to get the job started. We agree on a set price or my hourly rate and I show up to get the job started and get it done. If you want to book me in advance for a future date, I ask for a small deposit to block off my time for you and that will apply towards the work I do.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Since I have been doing renovations since 1999, there is no better training than hands on training and there is no substitute for experience.
