FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not add charges for pools and other stuff with the home. I am certified for termite inspections but since I did not work for a termite company, the state will not let me fill out the state form so i include looking for termites as part of my inspection. I do charge a little more for wind mitigations and 4pt inspections for insurance but I take all things in consideration to give you the best possible pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When a client calls me, we discuss the home, the pricing and the clients needs and come to an agreeable price and set a time for the inspection. The client lets their realtor know when it is and the realtor opens the home for me to do the inspection. If the client is not able to be there, when I am done with the inspection, I will call the client and go over what I have found and take care of payment at that time. i will put together a comprehensive digital report with high res. photos that is easy to understand but always make myself available for any questions.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My family is full of general contractors that I used to be the foreman for. I have done all sorts of construction from residential to commercial including about 100 homes and university dorms and apartment complexes. I have also thousands of inspections since 2005. I am certified and keep up with all continuing education requirements.
