Introduction: Dynamic Degreed Private Vocal Coach teaching private Voice lessons online/remote(Zoom) and in my well-equipped home studio in Winter Park, Fl. near Baldwin Park and Orlando Fashion Square Mall. I help adults and children, age seven and up, reach their musical goals through a wide range of genres/styles, specializing in Musical Theatre, Jazz, Classical/Opera, and teaching Pop/R&B, Country, Rock, Christian/Gospel, besides bel canto technique. 60-minute lessons once a week(every-other-week available), Monday through Saturday times still available. CD recording of each lesson to use as efficient learning tool. Adult rate:$50 an hour Children’s rate$45 an hour. Working with students on confidence and strengthening their tone and power is important, as is quality practice time and making lessons fun, challenging, and interesting. Expressive, dynamic, passionate singing is vital for audiences of any size to want to sit and listen, so bringing out the best in each student is very important. Stage presence, sight-singing, ear training, microphone technique, audition prep, performance prep, recording prep, and focused repertoire to the goals/needs of individual student are taught to those students who need and want. Professional aspirations? For fun and hobby? Your goals are my priority. Wish list of songs, styles, or artists' songs you want to sing? All exceptable. Bring your originals or work on songwriting during lesson time. I have quite a few students who are professionals in the music business, recording and performing locally and nationally. Several students have become pros during their study with me and have gone on to achieve their goals. I have been teaching for many years and I love what I do! Hearing students improve and progress Is so rewarding for them and for me. Finding their own voice and being able to share the instrument with others. Providing challenging, interesting, fun vocal lessons to students. Helping students reach their short term and long term goals in music and singing. I love seeing my students perform! Several of my young students are performing locally in musicals and talent shows and adults performing in groups, bands, theatre, and performing to promote albums. I am taking extra precautions to clean, sanitize, and therefore protect voice students in my home studio, who are coming for my private singing lessons. I do this several times each day with disinfectants and in between in studio students.

Excellent vocal exercises, skilled observation of areas to work on, and exceptional assistance with how to apply proper vocal technique for tonal quality, vocal flexibility, smooth transitions, and support. I am very pleased with the vocal assistance I am receiving from Alayne.

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

All my adult private lessons are $50 an hour. All of my children's lessons are $45 an hour.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I start students out with vocalizations to work on technique, breath control, broadening the range, flexibility and angility of range, resonation, and projection. Then students can apply technique to songs of chosen styles and add expressiveness, warmth, depth, and dynamic, passionate singing. Students typically see progress each and every month. This is one reason I record student's lessons, so that they can review older CD's and hear their progress.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Two music degrees from Indiana University School of Music: Indiana University School Of Music Bachelor of Music Education- Voice Indiana University School Of Music Bachelor of Vocal Performance Dance lessons and classes in college Voice lessons in college- 4 years Private voice lessons for two years in high school.
