FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in fair, upfront pricing with no surprise charges. Every project is different, so final pricing may depend on equipment, installation difficulty, wall type, cable routing, height, and travel distance. Customers provide the equipment unless otherwise agreed. I offer free estimates, explain any additional costs before beginning, and provide discounts when multiple devices are installed during the same visit.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start by discussing what the customer needs, reviewing their equipment, and asking a few questions about the home and installation area. I then provide a clear estimate and schedule a convenient appointment. When I arrive, I inspect the work area, explain the installation plan, and confirm the price before starting. After installation, I test everything, show the customer how it works, clean the work area, and make sure they are completely satisfied.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have approximately 10 years of professional field experience installing and troubleshooting satellite systems, home technology, Wi-Fi networks, security cameras, smart-home devices, and mounted TVs. I worked as a senior technician and trainer, helping train approximately 100 technicians in installation quality, troubleshooting, customer service, and safety. I also hold FASA/BASA alarm training credentials and have extensive hands-on experience with both wired and wireless systems.
