What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will obtain information on the phone to see what your cleaning needs are. Then I can come out to meet you and do a quick 10-15 minute free in-home estimate so there are no surprises on your end or my end. I use to have a set format on what I cleaned at every house but now each individual needs are so different depending on budget, health and various other reasons. But I try to work with each customer to make them happy where they can come home to a sparkling clean home after a hard day at work so they don't have to worry about it.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, I keep up on the lastest developments in housecleaning. I subscribe to various groups and organizations to learn about new products and ideas in my field. When they have any seminars or activities regarding cleaning downtown I try to always attend them and go to their booths and talk with them and get samples to try out.
Do you have a standard pricing system for your service? If so, please share the details here.
I don't have a complicated pricing system. As I said before I would come out and give an estimate due to each home is so different. The price varies on each home to fit your needs and budget. The Deep cleaning appointment will be more due to it normally takes 3 times longer to clean and then you would get on a regular scheduled maintenance appointment which would be lower fee. I accept checks, cash and all major credit cards. A lot of customers like to do on-line billing with the bank.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I used to work in accounting and bookkeeping and decided I wanted to work for myself and open a business. After a lot of reading books and investigating I decided I would enjoy having a house cleaning service. It's nice to know the customer is coming home to a clean house and that makes a smile on my face as well.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I do residential detail deep cleaning and regular maintenance cleanings. Also I will do one time cleanings, move in's and move out's, commercial office buildings, weekly, bi-weekly and monthly appointments. Just let me know what you want done to fit your needs and financial budget. Each house is so different but I love taking care of them all.
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I heard about a customer that broke her hip and couldn't afford a housekeeper and obviously couldn't clean it herself. A friend told me about it and I went and cleaned her home for her to help her out. Only charging her for gasoline and supplies not my time. She was so happy and thrilled and in returned all I asked was to refer me if she knew of anyone.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My advice is to meet that provider you are going to hire personally. First impressions mean a lot. You need someone you feel like is family to you. Someone you can trust that is responsible and loyal to you, your family and your home. Someone that will show up on time on a specific day every appointment and do excellent work. I take great pride in my company and work.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I am the best housekeeper in Georgia and I love what I do. I enjoy cleaning homes and take great pride in each job. I am very loyal, honest and reliable. Once you meet me you will realize that you can count on me with no worries about your home. I always take care of my customers and their families. Some of the homes I now clean are going on 10 years and they are like my second family.
