- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
As hard as it seems the customer should not focus solely on cost. You will always find someone to do a job for less money. Focus on the experience and references of contractors you are choosing. I price my jobs in a way that the only way that number changes is if there are unforeseen circumstances (mostly renovations), a change order is made or scope changes.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Talking with the customer about their project. Just as people get different quotes from different contractors, I like to get to know the potential customer to gauge whether or not our company will be a good fit for their needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Licensed contractor with just under 20 years experience.
