FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We bill hourly rates, but for most services we can estimate the number of hours very accurately at the beginning of the representation. Please feel free ask for a detailed estimate at the beginning of the representation!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Generally, we will want to get to know one another to make sure the relationship is a good fit. If you have the time, we will take you to lunch. If you don't have the time, we can schedule a conference call or, preferably, video chat. We will want to learn about your business so that we can provide the best possible service. These consults are free. If you decide not to engage our services, you will never receive a bill.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In June 2016, we formed Freed Howard LLC. Our goal was to provide top-tier legal services from a boutique platform with lower overhead and greater flexibility for our clients. Prior to that, I spent 12 years training and practicing law at Chamberlain Hrdlicka in Atlanta, Georgia. From September 2003 - September 2004, I served as a law clerk (researching and writing judicial decisions) for United States District Court Judge Richard A. Schell in the Eastern District of Texas. In May 2003, I received my law degree from the The George Washington University Law School, in Washington, DC.
