I cannot say enough good things about my experience with Yara Electric. Mike was extremely responsive from the moment I reached out through the duration of the project. He installed two exterior lights and a smart switch perfectly and also identified and fixed a wiring issue for us. He is very professional and a super nice guy. We will without a doubt use Yara Electric for future electrical needs.

I highly recommend Yara Electric. Mike was on time and very professional, he was able to mount both my TVs (55 in & 75 in) in less than an hour. It can be tough to find someone to come perform mount installation in Gainesville so we certainly lucked out finding Mike! Mike was able to provide quotes for a few more projects we want to do while he was here, we will be scheduling him to come back out for ceiling fan installation and installing dimmers in a few rooms. 10/10 recommend!

Electrical is one thing I will only allow a professional to work on. There is no compromise on when it comes to that. When my VERY particular and selective investor client introduced me to Mike with Yara Electric who handled 2 of her home flips… I hit the jackpot on reliability, professionalism, expertise and skill all in one. I do not take reviews for such things lightly. On the first repair a few months ago we called Mike to correct a problem with our ceiling fan. We observed his attention to detail and how he shared his strategy with me and completed the work and he even cleaned up after he finished the work. Last week we had a scare of a possible electrical fire we thought was a faulty wiring issue. We called Mike and he came out and checked it out and explained the true source was the smoke detector!!!!. He disconnected it and detached it. He checked all of the wiring that was connected and made sure it was not compromised. This helped calm any fears we were having. He has proven to be a gem on large scale projects and small scale projects. and I will recommend him over and over again.

We had an urgent need to have an older home’s dryer outlet replaced. Mike came to us within 2 hours, was amazingly informative, and quickly installed the new outlet for our modern smart dryer and its existing cord! I send detailed estimates of labor and materials for the comfort of a customer and for me so that everyone is aware.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I come out and look at the scope of work. And/or the client is very vocal and detailed of the scope of work needed via text or phone call. And I can give them a estimated price for labor and materials. And then we agree on a date of work and get the work done.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I had electrical training. Certifications and a lot of on the field training.
