I contacted Raul through Thumbtack. He responded within hours and came by within 2 days to see the project. I had an estimate by the next day. The project cost was $2650. Raul knew immediately what was needed and impressed me by identifying whether I had a bearing wall within 1 minute of looking at the site. The estimate I received was professional and described the scope of work well. Raul was able to begin the work about 3 weeks later. The work was completed within 3 days. He made sure to keep the area clean at all times. The work was done exceptionally well. He had to remove all the drywall and studs in the area; form a new wall with metal studs and wood frame; install the door mechanisms; reinstall drywall; trim and paint. I wanted the trim to match another pocket door in the house. He was interested and liked trying something new. It was a pleasure to work with someone who enjoys and is interested in their work.
