I have a new book coming out in the next few weeks through Amazon.Com titled From The Inside Looking Out.This book is illustrated by Ashley Williams. The story is about a boy of the African Diaspora coming of age in the Caribbean. It was absolutely fascinating to see how Ashley was able to quickly capture the spirit and nuances of a totally foreign culture and to portray them in 20 illustrations. I spent about three months working with Ashley as she conveyed the essence of each of my stories in one illustration. Ashley is a brilliant talent, and I look forward to working with her in the future. Ashley was on time for every meeting. It was rewarding to observe how Ashley absorbed a foreign culture as we went along. I believe that she will see " Duppies", and "Donkey-men" in her dreams for a while yet.

Ashley is a fantastic artist! We are extremely pleased with her work. She listens well and she is able to turn suggestions into reality. Also, she is easy to get in touch with during the creative process. We are definitely going to use her for our next project.

My experience with Ashley was good. I hired her to add additional animation to a video project. She does good work and pays attention to detail and she was always on time.

Ashley Williams, has worked on a project for me that has lasted about a year. She has impressed me with her comment and dedication to my year long project. Her creation of my newest project was displayed in a very creative succession plan with simplified data. I give Ms. Williams a 5 star rating on my project, that may very well turn into a 2-3 year project. Just outstanding work. "No fluff", All facts. -Dr. Carlton N. Young
