FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do not have a flat fee for my services simply because some people require more while others require less. I try to structure my prices in a way that suits my client's needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a Certified Public Accountant and an Enrolled Agent, I am required to maintain several hours of continuing education on a yearly basis. This requirement is necessary in order to maintain a valid license for both designations. Outside of the requirements by the licensing agencies, I constantly take classes on subjects that will help me serve my clients with competence and efficiency.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was first introduced to the world of accountancy by my father. He was a chartered accountant, which is the equivalent to being a CPA in the United States. After graduating at the top of my class with a bachelors in accounting, I decided to strive for the highest designation within my profession by sitting for the CPA exam. As a tax professional, I also decided to get my masters in taxation as a way of showing my commitment to my profession.
