Weddings in their nature are stressful, and for a bride that had her mind up on a Flemish Baroque inspired theme... and a guest count of 250... I thought I was looking for purple elephant. I search high and low; interviewing florist after florist only to be disappointed by all the vendors that have every wedding website saturated with their ads and glowing recommendations... Only to find out they have NO IDEA what a flemish floral was or baroque style bouquet. It was so frustrating. I turned to thumbtack as a last resort and was pleasantly surprised when I got a response from Sara Bush Designs. From he moment I saw Sara's portfolio... I was in LOVE! From our first conversation... I briefly explained my ideas & She immediately saw my vision. She never disregarded my budget & worked with me by suggesting alternative flowers to incorporate. After that initial consultation; she gave me quote generated by her software tool; It was specific & incredibly efficient. Her smart, creative & artistic approach had me sold. I hired her on the spot. She brings a lot to the table! Not only is she incredibly creative; she is well equipped with industry know-how and is well ahead of her peers on styles and trends! Any bride will be happy with her keen sense of style and attention to detail - Whether you have a vision; or need a little help getting inspired. She is incredibly talented and I couldn't have gotten luckier!

Sarah has an incredible talent for making something ordinary into something amazing. She designed several bouquets for me to choose from and made it so hard because each one was stunning in it's own way. I eventually ended up choosing a bouquet of orchids, blush roses, ranunculus and an assortment of other gorgeous flowers that were just right for me. I couldn't have asked for someone more professional and passionate about her work, she even shared that she grew up helping her parents grow orchids! How neat is that? Whether it be floral design or photography, Sarah is the one for you!

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am constantly taking courses and classes to continue to learn everything I can about flowers and floral arrangements to make sure you get exactly what you want for your event!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in a family of florists. My mother & father raised and sold orchids as a wholesale supplier so I have always been surrounded by gorgeous florals. I am an elopement and small wedding photographer and decided I wanted to make sure that each wedding was truly amazing from start to finish so I began incorporating florals into my design process and Sarah Bush Designs was formed!
