- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quotes are based on complexity, expected time of completion of the job, and market rates. Discounts are offered for referrals and prepayment.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically, I will need to see your most recent tax filings first. Once I have reviewed these documents, we can conduct an interview by phone, email, or in person. For remote clients, I have a secure web portal for exchanging sensitive financial documentation.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a broad educational background, graduating Magna Cum Laude with bachelors degrees in Accounting and English Literature. The CPA testing process is one of the more rigorous of all professional licensing, requiring a passing score on 4 exams within an allotted time period. Historically, the pass rate for each exam ranges between 40% and 50%. As a CPA, I am required to complete 80 hours of continuing education every 2 years. In addition to over 10 years in the accounting field, I also have over a decade of experience in real property valuation.
