I had to fire a contractor and look for a new one. I was super blessed to of come across Jeff and his crew to help me get my project complete. His communication was excellent, his expertise in decking and other renovation items were pristine and I would recommend him to anyone. His crew pays attention to detail and cleans up work areas very well.

Excellent work, flexible and cooperative in working out details, and wouldn't stop until we were fully satisfied. He and his 2 guys worked hard to build a beautiful deck and he took on extra work at our request (built one large new gate and repaired a small one). Highly recommend.

Jeff and his team did an awesome job on my deck. The quality of work definitely set him apart from the rest. He was able to start on my deck immediately and it was a complete tear down. We had Jeff and his team complete some decking and stair work at our home a year+ back. Jeff worked with us on design and construction and arrived when he said they would and stayed within pricing/budget guidelines. He really worked with our general vision to make it more specific, adding some additional touches and completing in an efficient timeframe with detail and care. During the process Jeff and his team included some design and construction ideas that we didn't initially think of (posts/foundation, rails) and after time it turned out better than we initially envisioned. I feel to give an accurate review that is believable we would need to score/grade the work on categories and possibly be critical in some areas that aren't always relevant. However, we would definitely hire again. Rating overall like 4.6/5.0 Rails - A+ (the corner cuts were good. Limited/no gap. Spacing for slats was even. They even sanded down areas to make them really smooth. Extra attention paid to this whereas I may not have been that diligent. Nice job on recessing the bolts and washers). Design/Engineering - A- (I may have added 1-2 additional 6x6 posts to lessen gap between posts in one section of the deck based on span but the area was a tight fit on a declining grade. After 1+ year there are no dips, sways, etc. It is sturdy so it may not even matter). Steps/stringers - B+ (Stringers had some excessive cut lines and steps were not all board cupping down. Thus, over time we may have some steps curve up vs curve down. This is just a little nit picky on my side though). Posts/foundation - A (Formed the post concrete footers with a slope to help with stability and water runoff vs a straight down slope. Nice touch). Site management/efficiency- B+ (We were easy in this regard as we said they could leave trash and we'd take care of. Pros, everything was nicely bagged up with wood scraps/corners in some bags and miscellaneous in others. Cons- there were a few extra boards not used and miscuts leftover. Nothing major. This goes to show if they didn't like the quality of the cut and aesthetic they didn't use. Had a few extra just in case. It'll just be some extra product to use for the next project. Project completed efficiently from first communication to competition within more than acceptable timeframe) Communication - A (Responsive by phone/text within a few hours. No crazy delays in getting a response back. Showed courtesy to house and family. Easy to get along with he and his crew).

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We offer competitive pricing and understand everyone has a different budget and needs for their project. We will help you determine what is right for your needs and go over different cost options to work with your budget. Also payment schedules can be broken down and flexible spacing them throughout the project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First an initial meeting with the customer to go over ideas and needs for their job. Then an estimate can either be given on site or emailed in a timely manner. At that point any concerns about cost or.additions to job would be addressed with the client. Once contract agreement is made a start date would be set and a payment schedule made.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We have a combined experience in deck building and remodeling of over 75 years. We have worked in many areas of residential construction and have build hundreds of decks,screen porches and sunrooms and can handle any issue that we come across with ease. We also work closely with an interior general contractor and deal directly with a structural engineer so we are capable of handling all your home construction needs.
