I thought he did a great job mowing the lawn. However, I was a little disappointed that there was no lawn maintenance done. There was still large sticks on my yard. There were parts of the yard that had leaves that were not mowed. This could be my fault because I wasn’t aware that I needed to remove the debris from the yard as well.

The contractor was prompt in response and came to me quickly to provide a quote. My request was to remove all of the leaves from my backyard, remove the pine straw from the sides and front yard of home and replace it with mulch. I usually handle these things and am aware of cost of materials, so when I asked the contractor the question “How much is all of this going to cost”, I believed our negotiation to $500 was sufficient to handle it all. However, I was advised later by the contractor, that cost was for labor only, not including materials. I ended up spending more than what I bargained for. I also spent time cleaning up a small/medium size pile of leaves as well as paying for materials I already had. Overall I believe the men did an okay job. I would’ve preferred better communication regarding quotes/estimates that would have included something in writing to eliminate confusions. I felt like the overall experience of being a first time customer lack professionalism as the contractor didn’t advise when they were done. That’s generally when you’re able to walk around and check things out for that last confirmation of satisfaction. Nevertheless, the experience wasn’t horrible, but I’d recommend anyone that uses them to get everything in writing including estimates with a proper range so that you’re not stuck paying extra costs. Also, I’d caution the contractor as well to provide written documentation even if it’s a lengthy text message to support the conversations had so it may used as a reference. I wasn’t confrontational and paid, but everyone may not be as kind and understanding. I wish the business the best of success!
