We have been afforded the opportunity to help others, even if that means giving up the work to the homeowner to do themselves. I will gladly explain to customers what needs to be done, especially on smaller jobs, and allow them to do the work themselves if they feel they are capable.

Kelly and Rob did a fine job renovating a small bathroom for me recently. They replaced the floor tile, the toilet, fixtures in the tub, and most importantly, turned the his-and-hers sink (which was just too much for a secondary bathroom) into a sink for one with marble countertops and a really nice custom cabinet with tower. Most of the work was done in a timely fashion, although we had to wait quite a while for the cabinets, as they were crafted by an outside carpenter. Also, the same carpenter put the wrong handles on the cabinets and getting him to come back to replace them (with Kelly being the middle-man) took too long. Being a two-man operation (with the occasional specialty worker brought in as needed) had its pros and cons, in my opinion. It was good because I knew exactly who was coming to do the work and didnt have a revolving door of random workers in my house every day. This allowed me to feel comfortable enough to give them a house key so they could come in and finish tasks while I was out. The downside, however, is that because its only the two of them, getting in touch can be a little challenging, especially if theyre working simultaneously on another job. So communication could definitely be improved, but as far as the work goes, Im pleased with the results.

Kelly has done work for us on two of our houses and the workmanship and attention to detail has been outstanding!!! We were able to accept an offer on one house within 72 hours and had an attic installed in the new house.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not complicated. We give you a total for labor and materials UPFRONT. The only changes we make is if the customer wants more work done, or done differently than what we recommend initially. We will always itemize the cost if requested by the customer.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are always researching new products and materials, and new ways of making things work.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Kitchen and bath renovations. Additions, damaged wood repair on exterior, exterior painting, interior painting, plumbing and electrical repairs, and finishing spaces.
