I love taking a raw idea or concept and making it a reality on your wall. Or painting a logo with precision. I obsess over my work and pay very close attention to all the little details. That is what separates average from great! I can take your vision or design or create one for you to give your space the wow factor. MURAL PRICING: There are a lot of factors that go into the cost of a mural such as: amount of detail, full vs. partial wall coverage, interior vs. exterior, surface of wall, height of wall. Typically, I charge $1500 to $3000+ for one wall depending on the square footage and the amount of detail involved. I can paint your design (or logo) or create a design for you. In most cases, I will send a digital design mock-up for your approval before I begin any work. A retainer is required to get scheduled on my calendar or before any design work begins. LIVE WEDDING PAINTING PRICING: I would love to paint your love story live at your wedding! I offer several packages starting at $2250 IN STUDIO COMMISSIONS: Prices vary depending on size, number of people/pets and amount of detail. I mainly paint in oils when painting in my studio. MORE ABOUT ME: I have always had a passion for art! I have had my own art business since 2010 where I have been selling on Etsy. I have made well over 1,200 sales with close to four hundred 5 star reviews. I also I sell some of my original paintings on both Etsy and my website. I also paint pet portraits, wedding portraits and other commissioned paintings. I have hosted paint parties for both children and adults. I enjoy making jewelry, sewing, interior design and home renovation projects too! I have a growing collection of power tools. I love challenges and creative solutions that involve “Out of the box” thinking. However, once I ventured into the arena of murals, I fell in love with large scale painting! I also really enjoy entertaining wedding guests while painting live at weddings. Some of my days are spent in my studio where I paint commissions as I listen along to my favorite podcasts. My husband and I bought a new home and I felt our small dinning room needed a very large piece of art on the main wall. Not wanting to buy a piece of art online or driving around to galleries to find a piece of art. I thought about a mural, so i looked online but couldn't find anything that fit me. After walking around our small town and seeing all the art, I thought how much I would enjoy finding a local artist. So I searched for muralist in my area. I found Debbie and sent her a note and she responded right away. We scheduled a time when she could come over to meet. I told her my ideas and she showed me her impressive portfolio. Debbie is actually quite a special woman and truly talented. After our meeting I was confident that I found the right artist and I didn’t need to research any further. It took a little while for me to decide on a subject. She worked with me and was always ready to send more images and would add something or make some kind of adjustment for me to look at. I never felt pressured to make up my mind. I decided to go with one of her fantastic ideas. It took her only two days to complete. She’s neat, quiet and focused. Our mural is so lovely! It makes our dinning room look even larger. We also can enjoy our mural from the kitchen and living room bringing much joy to our home. We are so fortunate to have picked Debbie. She rocks!!! What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We can talk about pricing. There are a lot of factors that go into the cost of a mural. Typically, I charge anywhere between $20 (Basic design) to $35 per square foot. The process is easy; I will walk you through every step along the way. I send digital mock-ups for your approval before I begin any work. I can customize certain jobs to fit your budget.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I will contact you to discuss your project & I will meet with you in person on site before hand to explain my process & give you an estimate. Sometimes, depending on the job, I can give you an estimate over the phone or via text message.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have taken various art courses, worked as a freelance artist for Plaid Enterprises, contributing artist in the published book “The Big Book of Mod Podge”. and have painted murals, portraits, landscapes, renovated several homes, updated fireplaces, have done tile work, etc, etc. I have had an Etsy shop since 2010 and have made over 1300 sales with 5 star reviews. I am very meticulous and pay close attention to details.
