Do you need your audio files transcribed into text documents? You've come to the right place. I have 32 years experience in the transcription business and I employ four other fabulous transcriptionists besides myself so we can turn around your small, large, or huge projects in a timely manner.
We are affordably priced at $1.25 per audio minute ($75 per audio hour). We can do any transcription you need; Focus groups, interviews, sermons, police/detective interviews, grad student dissertations, TV show interviews (yup we do that and its so cool), and conference speaker transcription just to name a few.
We are extremely accurate and each transcript is proofread for spelling and grammar before it is sent back to the client. We pay close attention to details.
I love the transcription industry because it allows me to work on projects involving so many different topics. I always walk away from a finished project learning something new.
Let me know how we can help you!

I needed transcriptions of interviews I had done for my thesis. Robin replied promptly to my request. Within that same day we were in progress and within a week we were done! Robin was very reasonably priced and was enthusiastic about doing the job. If I need this kind of work done again, she is first on my list.

Robin was so accessible and communicative while working on my focus group transcripts. What I appreciated most, however, was her willingness to view the texts referenced in my research in order to carry out her task of transcribing the responses of my participants. Well done and I would easily select again for my transcription work.

Robin is halfway through my large transcription job, and she has done excellent work. It was imperative that we make our deadline and she is making that possible. I am very pleased and would highly recommend her.

FAQs
What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I hate complicated pricing and so I keep mine as simple as possible. $75.00 per audio hour ($1.25 per audio minute). It doesn't get much easier than that.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Tell me about your project. How many audio hours do you expect to have transcribed? How soon do you need it completed? At that point you can either upload your audio files via Dropbox and we'll get started on them. Behind the scenes where you don't see us working, your audio is assigned a project number and logged. The audio files are then distributed among the transcriptionists so they can do their magic and they proofread their work before sending it back to me. When it gets to me I proofread it again, format it and make it really pretty, and then email it or Dropbox it back to you. Billing depends on the size of you project. For smaller projects I generally send an invoice when the transcripts are complete. For longer projects I will likely send invoices at stages through the process. Its super simple!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I started out as a Medical Transcriptionist and went to school for a certification in medical language and transcription studies. It all branched out from there.
