William didn't try to overcharge me he new what the problem was right away and fixed the leak in my kitchen from the roof definitely will refer him to friends and family.

I had Mike Dixon come out to do a mold inspection (one of a few estimates I got for the job). He was nothing but respectful of my time, my actual needs and my home - three things that I did not find in most of the other contractors I looked at. He was super communicative (via text and in person, which was a requirement of mine), did a full inspection of my house to see if there were any other issues that could be causing the problem. And he didn't find a ton of things wrong despite it being a 98 year old house - I expected him to act like a typical contractor and find 19 things wrong that all had an insane costs associated with them. He just made gentle and, again, respectful suggestions of things I might want to take care of at some point. I felt in no way pressured to make any decisions right that second, and he was clear that he would work up fully-broken down set of estimates within a few days.
And he did a great job cleaning up the mold for less than other quotes (and I don't always hire the cheapest out there), recognizing that in the land of contracting, doing a good low cost, thorough job in the short term gets you more business in the long term. As a former small business owner, I have a great deal of respect for anyone who understands that basic tenant of good business. I look forward to working with him again in the future on other projects!

William came to provide a roof inspection. He saw the wall where there was evidence of a leak, checked the attic and said what he thought it maybe the issue. He then inspected the roof, found the damage and caulked where the water was coming from. He was very professional, courteous and knowledgeable. He will definitely be my guy if I need any roof repair/replacement!!!

Make sure you get a bid for your project from D1 Construction Services! These guys really know how to get the job done and the quality looks great!!!!! David the Owner and Mike who is the Seniors Claim Mediator were both exceptional from beginning to end! They did everything we asked for and more. They handled all paperwork to file the claim with insurance company. When these guys leave you can't even tell they were there. They take great pride in making sure your property is thoroughly clean. David and Mike personally come and inspect all aspects of their crews work and makes sure your satisfied before you make your final payment. I would highly recommend D1 Construction for any roofing work in the future.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is all pending; each and every project differs and has there own variables, so when we create an estimate it will be based off the type of work needed as well as the different complications and their severietes that could arise during your project.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our process is streamlined and very simple; We start with your free inspection (all inspections are free and of no obligation) we just simply give you the information necessary to make an educated decision about your next step. After that our claims specialist will sit down with you to call your insurer (if your project calls for it) then, if an insurance claim, we will show up the day of your adjustment to walk through all the damage we have found with the adjuster so you know you have solid representation that will not let the insurer take advantage of your lack of knowing what's going on. Once they approve you (or if cash or financed project) we will schedule your install (typically no more than 2 weeks from that date) and that's it. We will sign your Warranty card and then you have us at your service for the next 10 years!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every member of D1 Construction Services is certified by Owens Corning in all aspects of their roofing system. Our inspector is HAAG certified in residential roofing. Our partner company Code Red is licensed in Fire and Water restoration by the Cleaners Coach and is certified by Micro as a CMI (Certified Mold Inspector) CMRC (Certified Mold Remediation Contractor) and CHST (Certified Health and Safety Technician). Our EHS Manager has the OSHA 510 license (making him a certified OSHA inspector) so you know every project will be 100% safe every time.
