FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am actually writing this at an airport in Orlando for the SGIA expo. Its a large format and textiles conference. All the biggest names of printing are here. I have learned so much about wide format on top of 12 years doing it. We are bringing all our wide format in house to give our us a better control on turnaround, quality and price! We have decided to go green with the NON solvent HP Latex printer. We can print on fabric, concrete applications, decals, clear media, canvas, banner vinyl, and so much more!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was originally a CIS major in college (Computer Info Sys). This is basically a computer and business degree. I failed my first programming class (with tutors) miserably. I knew then I was not built for that major. I found an untapped passion for the arts and changed my major to BFA (Bachelor of Fine Arts). I was amazing at pottery, photography and graphic design. Not only that but I was really good. Always the best in my class and the teachers sought me out to tutor the students when I could. I love what I do and I think that is what paved the way.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common jobs we handle would be corporate head shots, website developments, product photography, event photo and video, graphic design, branding, printing (small and large format), resume design, SEO, Direct Mail and more. Honestly we do not do one thing all the time, we do everything all the time LOL.
