I’m writing to commend L&B Plumbing for the fantastic job they did replacing the sump pump in our basement shower. We had a disaster from a previous contractor that put our sump pump under the shower and we didn’t have access to it. Th pump went out after 4 months. L&B came to the rescue burst the shower floor and educated us on what he was doing play by play informing us that previous contractor didn’t even put down pee traps and installed incorrect pump.
After suffering through the pump going out, bathroom having an odor and being over priced for trash contractors we were not trusting of contractors. Glad we called L&B Plumbing they really completely exceeded our expectations.

I chose L&B plumbing because I was offered several choices through Thumbtack and L&B Plumbing had the most and the highest rated reviews. I read several and decided to try to make an appointment. Domingo, the owner of L&B Plumbing, said that he was available immediately. He was upfront with his pricing, which was very reasonable. He was very polite and professional, so I hired him. He showed up on time and went to work immediately. The problem turned out to be more than a clogged drain. The vent line was full of water. That had to be opened up and drained twice. He ran a snake all the way to the main, probably in excess of 50 feet. He finally pulled out a big clog of hair and grease (probably from prior owners). All of the reviews that I read were reflective of the type of service that I received. He did not try to sell me anything that I did not need. He was persistent and educated me along the way of what he was doing and why. The cost was very reasonable for what he had to do and the time it took. There were no surprise charges. He is now my only recommendation to anyone else who needs a plumber.
