FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Appraisal fees are custom because every property is unique. I provide a clear, upfront quote based on the home’s size, complexity, location, and the type of appraisal needed (lending, estate, divorce, tax appeal, pre‑listing, etc.). Most single‑family homes fall within a typical range, and I always confirm pricing before scheduling so there are no surprises. My goal is to offer fair, competitive fees and deliver a high‑quality, well-supported report you can rely on.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with a quick phone call to understand the scope of work — the home’s size, location, and the type of appraisal needed (lending, estate, divorce, tax appeal, pre‑listing, etc.). Once we confirm the details and quote, I schedule an onsite visit to inspect the property and gather the data needed for a credible valuation. After the inspection, I complete the full appraisal report, including market analysis, comparable sales, and supported adjustments. The finished report is delivered electronically, and I’m always available to answer questions or walk you through the results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring a blend of classroom education, Appraisal Institute PAREA training, and over 1,500 hours of supervised appraisal work. This mix of structured learning and hands-on experience helps me provide clear, reliable valuations and a smooth, professional experience for every client.
