Deck Masters of GA rebuilt our steps from the screened porch to the patio. They did an amazing job and the price for the work was definitely more than expected. The steps are substantial with meticulous detail and workmanship. The owner Hank Edge was very responsive to any and all texts about the project. They explained exactly what would be done and there were no surprises. We are so pleased and would hire them again in a heartbeat.

Hank wasn't the first person I contacted about my deck project, but he was definitely the most knowledgeable. I have three remodel projects going on right now, and I trust Hank more than any of the other contractors working for me. He's been more responsive, reliable, and definitely provides better craftsmanship than I expected or imagined. When we had unexpected issues come up, he didn't take the typical 'contractor' approach of trying to re-scale the entire project. Instead, he tried to find fixes that worked for me, that stayed in my initial budget. Hank is a consummate pro who has seen it all and done it all--nothing was too hard for him in this project and his team handled everything exactly as I wanted. I will hire him again for any deck needs--he's won me over as a fan, which is hard to do.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. There's to many variables to be considered when it comes to building decks and porches. I've found out over the years that giving a base price without LOOKING at a job is not a good idea!!!
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I'm actually a 3rd generation Home Builder. It's in my blood so to speak.
