- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I charge $150/hr for one photographer up to six hours. Anything above six hours comes with two photographers. A second photographer is $50/hr for anything less than six hours. An engagement session is $150/hr. We can also provide DJ services and a Photo Booth if you are interested in those services. I do have a special package price that includes six hours coverage with both photography and DJ service plus an engagement session for $1500. For DJ/Emcee service only, my prices start at $150/hour Add on for DJ - Dance Lights = $75, Fog machine = $50, Up lighting = $50 each Photo Booth is $100/hr Please contact me for a detailed explanation for any of our services along with the answers to any of your questions. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to meet with the client and his/her fiance to talk about the vision of their perfect wedding day. Then we talk about how I can best make that dream a reality. I like to lay out a plan for how the day will go including arrival time, where the bride and groom will get ready, whether we do a first look or not, what time each group will be getting pictures taken, etc. I make sure we cover every detail so nothing out of the ordinary happens the day of the wedding. After the meeting, we schedule a time to do engagement photos and I make sure to touch base with the client a couple of times before the wedding and again the week of the wedding. After the wedding, I take the time to critically look at every photo and only choose those which I would be proud to display in my own home. I edit all of the acceptable photos for color balance and clarity then upload them to a Dropbox folder which only the client will have access to.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
As a respected Digital Media instructor and former live sound engineer, I bring a wealth of experience to my work every day. I have a BA degree in Mass Media instruction and have attended many online and in-person classes over the last 25 years.
