FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is honest, fair, and reflects the value I deliver. I am not the cheapest option and I am not the most expensive. What I offer is a premium experience at a fair price. Here is what I tell clients: there will always be someone willing to charge less, but you will get what you pay for. Lower prices usually mean less experience, rushed editing, and photos that do not truly capture the importance of your day. When you hire me, you are not just paying for a camera and a couple of hours of time. You are investing in someone who knows how to make you feel comfortable, how to guide you through the process, and how to deliver photos you will be proud to share for years to come. Just like you know your worth and value in your own profession, I know mine as a photographer. That is why I am clear and confident about my pricing. My clients choose me because they value peace of mind, a smooth experience, and images that feel authentic and timeless.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to keep the process simple, clear, and stress-free. It usually starts with a quick conversation where I ask questions to understand what you’re looking for, the occasion, the style you have in mind, and what matters most to you. This is where my background in psychology really helps. I’ve learned how to listen deeply, read people, and make them feel comfortable right away. From there, I guide you step by step so nothing feels overwhelming. Before the shoot, I’ll help you with planning, outfits, and location ideas if you need them. During the session, I use small techniques to make you feel at ease, so instead of worrying about how you look, you can just enjoy the moment. And after the shoot, I handle the editing and delivery in a timely way so you walk away with photos you’re proud to share and treasure. My goal is always the same: make the experience as enjoyable as the photos themselves.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I bring a different kind of background to photography. I hold both a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in psychology, which means I deeply understand people. From how they think, why they behave the way they do, and how to make them feel comfortable, seen, and appreciated. That foundation allows me to capture natural, authentic moments rather than stiff, forced poses. While I didn’t go to school specifically for photography, I’ve invested thousands of dollars in advanced courses and programs in photography and editing to constantly refine my craft. And the results speak for themselves. My work has been trusted by major brands like Papa John’s, Splenda, and others. So whether I’m photographing a family, an engagement, or a corporate brand, I combine psychology, artistry, and professional training to deliver images that make people say, “That feels like me.”
