FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Quality video production for a church promotion, youth event, a website, or any kind of promotional visuals require thoughtful budgeting. Things can become costly as requirements come up during production. Obviously if you don't have an in-house videographer, then that would require you to hire a professional or outside company to handle your visuals. It's imperative to know what your budget is and how much needs to be reserved for production costs prior to contacting a freelance videographer or a video production company. While it's not easy to know exactly what a production will cost ahead of time, it can cost anywhere in the neighborhood of $600-$1300 per minute of edited video.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Ideally, I'd love to have a face to face meeting. More practical given our current circumstances and for the benefit of time and expedience, FaceTime, Skype, Google DUO, ZOOM or another video chatting service would be great. If those options aren't viable, then a phone call works as well. After our initial meeting, we can communicate via text, call, video-chat or email. However, if possible, I would prefer meeting face to face. I'd like for you to get to know who you'll be working with.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have about 12 years of experience recording and editing video. Over the years I've honed and extended my skill set. I'm a certified audio engineer. I've been working with audio for about 8 years. I'm confident that my particular skill set will only serve to enhance your video.
