FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
To residential customers, most of the time quotes are given over the phone. We ask pertinent questions to help evaluate the situation. The price quoted is the price you will pay. No hidden fees. NOTE: There are exceptions where an area is larger than the standard area (250 sqft) in which that would be considered two areas, the soil level in the carpet would need restoration (heavily soiled), customers who want red stains removed (requires special treatment outside of the cleaning), and pet odor removal. These are situations where additional charges would apply.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Upon arrival we: 1. Pre-Inspect the areas of cleaning to determine the best cleaning technique. 2. Pre-Vacuum the carpet 3. Pre-Spot certain stains 4. Pre-Spray the carpet 5. Agitate the carpet fibers working in the pre-spray. Let dwell for at least 15 mins. 6. Rinse & Extract 7. Apply a Post Spot treatment (if needed). 8. Groom the carpet fibers (helps with the dry time). 9. Post Cleaning Inspection with the customer.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Not only do I have lots of on the job training, I've also had courses tailored to carpet cleaning technicians that taught us about how different textiles were made, the different fibers (natural and synthetic), and which cleaning techniques is best used in different situations.
