We immediately started calling HVAC companies, but no one had availability that day except ACS. I spoke with their AI agent, who told me a technician could come out. However, just minutes after hanging up, the technician called to say he was too far away and asked to reschedule. I agreed, only to find out the next day that ACS had never actually scheduled my appointment within the said timeframe. At that point, we were frustrated, uncomfortable, and still without air conditioning.
That’s when I decided to try Thumbtack for the first time and found Taylor.
From the moment I reached out, Taylor was absolutely AMAZING. He responded immediately, gave me a realistic arrival window, and showed up exactly when he said he would. He was professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly thorough. He took the time to inspect the entire HVAC system and clearly explained what he believed the issue was.
During the repair, he discovered there was a different problem that wasn’t initially apparent. He communicated this upfront and provided the breakdown of cost - not charging us any outrageous amount. That level of honesty, integrity, and customer service is hard to find these days.
If you’re looking for someone who is reliable, responsive, fair, and truly cares about doing the job right, I cannot recommend Taylor enough. He turned a very stressful situation into a great experience, and my family is incredibly grateful. We will definitely be using him again for any future HVAC needs!

Taylor did a general maintenance to the AC unit and identified an issue with dual run capacitor which he promptly replaced.
I will definetely call him in the future as HVAC specialist.
