FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the amount of time the customer requests and the amount of preparation that will go into working with the customer. For example, if I am reviewing an essay and no preparation is required on my part, then I will charge a flat fee per page or per block of time. However, if I am tutoring and need to create a lesson plan, the price will increase to compensate for the prep time. I am open to negotiating.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
To begin, I ask my new customer about their needs. Then, I will create a plan and a schedule and discuss it with them. If they are happy with the plan, then we will move forward with what has been discussed. If changes need to be made, then we will make changes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in English and a graduate degree in Liberal Arts with a concentration in English. Some of the courses I studied to earn my master's degree focused on how to teach reading and writing. In addition to my BA and MA, I also have teacher certification for the states of Georgia and Florida.
