The new kitchen looks amazing. His work definitely shows his attention to detail in every aspect of the project, from design to delivery. Project was done on time and on budget. His recommendation for adding an island during design phase made a huge difference in the functionality of the new kitchen and is now our favorite accent in the room. He also helped with recommendations for plumbing, lights, and electricity which shows his experience in delivery a great kitchen. If I ever move and in need of cabinets, this will be the first, and likely only, call I make.

We had a white, multi-level kitchen island that we wanted to take down to one flat surface. After the original top was removed, Zoltan came and cut the island down to size. He then removed all the doors, sanded everything down to the bare wood, and repainted the island an espresso color of my choice. It looks FANTASTIC. He also attached new cabinet hardware. The island was originally a stumbling block, but now shines like new and is a true centerpiece of our kitchen. The entire project was done quickly and efficiently. He took great care to minimize the amount of dust created and covered all other exposed surfaces. Thank you Torteli Custom Woodworks!

FAQs

How did you get started doing this type of work?
I grew up in Hungary where my Grandfather was a furniture maker, a craft he learned from his father. After school, I would walk over to his workshop and spend a couple of hours learning about his trade. I then went to trade school to learn the more modern techniques of cabinetmaking.
