I have worked with Jim for over 15 years. He has excellent editing skills. He has a 'can do' attitude and always meets or exceeds any timeframes or deadlines that I give him. He is extremely dependable and customer-focused. I look to him for guidance as far as the best digital video formats are concerned for given delivery methods. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our hourly rate is negotiable depending on turnaround and number of cameras.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I would like to find out what the objectives for the video shoot are first. Then we can get into specifics about length, special requests, and the intended audience. Do you want to have two cameras recording the event? This will give great flexibility during the edit, but will cost a little more. We provide microphones and lights. If it is a stage performance we can record audio from the sound board as well.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My company has been producing DVDs, corporate videos, and videotaping events since 1999. I have an undergraduate degree in Film/TV from the University of Central Florida. I have a masters degree in Instructional Design from Georgia State University.
