Kevin was incredibly professional and helpful for our first tie getting professional photographs done, let alone engagement photoshoots. He was patient and his poses were unique as was his ability to play with light and shadows. 10/10 would recommend!

We had a fun time with our couples shoot, Kevin had us feeling relaxed throughout the session and was open to shooting some poses we had in mind. The photos turned out amazing, high quality editing that included a range of backgrounds and poses.

We first heard about Kevin and the simple theory photography from thumbtack where he has excellent reviews. We scheduled a phone meeting where he got to know us and we explained that we wanted to do a hike up to Preacher’s Rock, change into wedding clothes and do a vow exchange. From the beginning we swapped inspiration photos and videos so we were on the same page with how we wanted the photos to look.
On the day of the elopement Kevin went above and beyond. He even brought a pop up changing tent for me to go from hiking clothes to wedding dress in, which I was not expecting! Kevin has an amazing eye for beautiful shots and was able to guide us with posing. He even made sure to put mics on us at the beginning of the hike to capture candid audio for our video. Kevin delivered the photos and video is record timing and we were absolutely in love with his work! We look forward to looking back on our day for years to come! We highly recommend booking Kevin for your upcoming event!

We are so glad to have Kevin as our photographer for the family photos. Kevin is very attentive and very experienced with kids. My daughter is 16 months old and not cooperative, however Kevin is still able to capture some captivating photos. We love every photo he snaps. He has the magical way of finding perfect lighting, angle and expression. A nice guy and great to work with.

Where to begin, I was late to the game with about a month left before my wedding and stumbled across The Simple Theory. He was able to show me an example video of what I described to him and decided to ultimately go with him. He took the time to go out to the venue just to get a layout as well as plan his shots weeks before the wedding. He got in contact with our wedding planner and photographer to get timeliness as well as meet who he would be working along side with. Day of wedding I don't know how but he was everywhere, he didn't miss a moment and was able to get amazing drone footage as well of our beautiful venue. I truly feel like I'm in some hallmark movie trailer. He went above and beyond to truly capture the best day of my life, we are forever thankful for his video and expertise. Thank you.

All quotes are tailored for each customer depends on what you're looking for because we believe everyone is special, simple as that!
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Customers let us know what their basic needs, and we'll provide a first draft of the quote based on that. When closer to the session, I'd love to meet up with customers to go over some more details. All our customers have become our friends and stayed in touch after the session, and that's how we roll.
