Mr. Noel installed, stained, and finished red oak hardwood floor on one floor of my townhouse to match the existing flooring. The result is spectacular, and will hopefully last for many years, as opposed to the carpet it replaced. I am happy that this upgrade was left in Steven Noel's hands: even though this is a major project (filthy, labor intensive and overall cumbersome for any homeowner), reliability is one of his biggest assets. We planned for each step, which was carried out timely, with no delays whatsoever, which is a lot to say considering it was around the Christmas holidays. Steve patiently provided me with information and options, taking the time to explain each step, what could and could not be done, so that expectations were realistic. The stairs, which did not have a frame, had to be retrofitted, and Steven did a very good job with the existing structure to avoid having to build the entire frame, which would have costed thousands. He also found a creative solution for a couple of spots. One can tell when someone has been in the trade for many years and takes his job seriously, as opposed to mass-builders and big contracting businesses. This is an honest family business, in which Steven's son also pitched in; the staining/finishing crew were also punctual and reliable. Pricing was right, work was overly professional, and the result is outstanding. The only service I would have added is for painting to be offered, maybe as a separate option but readily available. Walls and baseboards took a beating and have to be repainted, and the stairs' risers have to be filled, caulked and painted. I wish it could have been done at the end of the project, instead of having to do it myself or contract someone else. All in all, this was a scare-free project, professionally done in a timely manner, for the right price. Thank you, Steve!!! I appreciate your honesty and hard work!!!

While the pricing is not complicated, it is based on your custom project. Accurate quotes are contingent on details such as the type and size of the project. After discussing the details, we will be able to provide you with an accurate quote and move forward from there. Very often in this business it is best to do an onsite quote, but if that isn't possible due to a closing etc we can estimate the job as accurately as we can and adjust later.
