I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel obligated to share my experience.
The reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because they did attempt to address some of the issues after I brought them to their attention. However, the overall experience left me disappointed.
Before the project began, I specifically pointed out an uneven section of subfloor that needed to be addressed before the LVP flooring was installed. The written scope of work even included "Level Floor" and listed concrete as part of the materials. Unfortunately, the floor was installed without that issue being properly corrected, and the area remains uneven and creaks when walked on.
During the project, the original plan changed without being discussed with me, and alternative methods were used instead, they mentioned putting cardboard under the floor, which I still cant get over. As a homeowner, I relied on their professional judgment and trusted that the issue would be resolved correctly.
While some aspects of the project were completed ok, including the trim, door installation, and added support underneath the structure, the flooring issue was a major part of why I hired them in the first place.
My overall impression is that the project was rushed and that important details were not handled with the level of care and communication I expected. Based on my experience, I would recommend getting everything in writing, confirming exactly how problem areas will be addressed, and thoroughly inspecting the work before final payment.
