Stephen did an excellent Job painting our home!!!! He arrived on time to our house and went straight to work!! He fixed our walls and was very informative on how we should proceed if there are any other painting issues we come across. Stephen wen out the way to please to make sure we were satisfied with his work. Thank you Stephen!!!

My experience in the beginning with Stephen was very pleasant. He was quick to respond to my inquiry and quick to get me a quote to paint 3 bedrooms of my house. For what all the painting in the bedrooms required , I thought his price was quite competitive. His quote was better than all the others I had received, so I saved it. I finally scheduled a day for him to do the job of painting the master bedroom for me. He quoted me higher this time for the job than the original he gave me, and also told me painting the closet doors was extra (he never said that in the beginning with original quote). I figured he was still much less than the others had quoted, and they did a very good job, so no big deal. They were timely and worked efficiently. Very pleasant and very friendly. When they left I asked them to put any furniture back because I was unable to do myself and they did and also put the closet doors back on. A few hours after they left and the paint had dried I went to open the closet doors and they both easily fell off. My husband and I tried to put them back on with no success. I then reached out to Stephen about the doors and coming back out to put them back on correctly , instead of me having to get someone else to do it, and he refused. He said they put them back on and so it was obviously something I did wrong. I took offense to that as a paying customer. A closet door doesn't just easily fall off of it was installed correctly. I felt that since they were the ones handling them and now I'm having issues with them, it was in his best interest as a service provider to come back and put them back on correctly. They have not come back and now I have not heard from him. Therefore, I will be contacting someone else to fix them, which is another expense to me. It was a great experience until the end. Bad customer service.

Steve and his crew took care of a specialized painting project (bathroom ceilings) in our home. They were on time, courteous, professional and really seemed to know what they were doing. Overall the experience was outstanding (hence the rating), would definitely use Platinum Elite Services again.

When I inquired about a painter through Thumbtack, Steve was the first one to respond, literally within minutes. I was able to get an appointment for an estimate the same day. Steve came out and did a walk through. After we agreed on the price Steve said he could have someone out as early as the next day! I had a busy schedule so we agreed to start that Friday which was 3 days later. Steve met me at my home Friday to introduce me to the painter who's name was also Steve. He walked Steve through and showed him what I was having painted. He also let me know that another painter was on his way and would be there shortly. Steve said if I needed anything don't hesitate to call. Steve(the painter) got started right away. A little later, Jimmy(the other painter) arrived. These men were so professional and friendly. We had great conversation. They also know their stuff when it comes to painting. The job took the whole weekend but it's because they were working around my schedule and usually didn't start until after 3 which I really appreciated. They were flexible and didn't complain about having to start later in the day or working on the weekend. Before the job was done, Steve(the owner) called me to make sure that I was happy with the job so far and to see if there's anything he could do. Which I thought was very nice, and showed that he cared about his customers and takes pride in his company as well as their work. I would definitely hire this company again for my future jobs. I have already recommended them to several people.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to price by room for smaller projects, but if a customer needs their entire home painted, I'll gladly work out a square footage pricing with them.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up a free estimate depending on their schedule, where I really take my time understanding why they want their rooms painted and what their priorities are within their time frame and budget. After that, I try to schedule work as soon as they need me to. Afterwards I always appreciate a good review on my Thumbtack site, and send them a follow-up message to see if they're completely satisfied with my work and if they need me to come out again.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out of high school with help from some local pastors. Now, many years later, it has helped me, best of all it's something I'm not only good at but also actually love doing!
