Introduction

I started Straight-Line Custom Solutions L.L.C. with 16 year experience in Contracting and Woodworking. I will only be hired by Individuals and homeowners. Jobs for insurance, landlords, realtors, sub work, etc will all be dismissed. I’m relatively new here on Thumbtack, so a few things I’d like every one to know first off is, I have chosen to build/remodel/renovate as a profession, I’ very open minded, completed all kinds projects over the years. From a patio custom water feature for ambiance to custom 10ft arched entry doors out of walnut for Carrie Underwood’s house in Tennessee. Secret bookcase door for a play room, hidden gun compartment shelves, also hidden a safe inside a wall. I specialized home renovations, such as music studios, outdoor bar/patios, video game rooms, to workshops, specific home office furniture, etc. I’m 100% building and/or installing my work personally. Project size small or big, I am open to most any ideas, and I have no problem telling you if I’m not comfortable or capable of how to do something. Feel free to send pictures from Pinterest, Etsy, etc. if you’d like. I’m just in the beginner stage on Thumbtack but I’ll try to have a good variety when I’m uploading my projects portfolio. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My first priority is to make sure to explain the entire process from using certain materials and products, to each step in the project, so they understand and can be aware of how progress is being made. Miscommunication and misunderstanding happens more often than it should.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
High school degree, then acquired a MIG and a TIG Welding certificate, automotive technology degree
How did you get started doing this type of work?
living in Atlanta, Georgia making more money valeting cars than fixing them, a now good friend mine starting paying me cause I had a truck, and he need me to help him with his painting company. Learned the business of contracts/clients. The satisfaction from being asked to do work for someone.
