- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Standard Operating Procedure: Design & Remodel Projects To ensure a seamless experience for every design and remodeling client, Peaches & Cream Creative Designs follows a structured, step-by-step workflow from initial inquiry through project completion : Initial Consultation & Vision Discovery: Once the deposit has been received from the client, we immediately schedule a comprehensive virtual onboarding call with the client and our primary design team. During this meeting, we dive deep into the client’s preferences, exploring their specific aesthetic style, functional needs, overall vision, and key desires for their design or renovation project to establish a solid foundation for the upcoming designs. Sample Material Preparation & On-Site Evaluation: (In state or out of state) Our design team carefully curates a personalized physical sample box featuring high-quality material swatches, including natural stone countertop slabs, tile, custom cabinet finishes, backsplash options, flooring samples, and hardware finishes, allowing the client to review and select project materials in person. In parallel, we schedule and conduct a thorough on-site evaluation to take precise dimensional measurements, inspect existing structural layout conditions, assess mechanical, electrical, and plumbing infrastructure, and verify overall site readiness. During this meeting, we also collaborate directly with the client to develop a custom design layout tailored to the specific functional and aesthetic requirements of the renovation project. Additionally, we offer personalized in-person shopping excursions with clients to curated trade showrooms and local retail partners. If you have preferred trade vendors or exclusive stores where you receive wholesale pricing, please provide us with that vendor list so we can direct clients solely to those specified locations for material selection and procurement. Following the client's final review and approval of all selected materials, our team will compile and issue a complete itemized list of materials for purchase to streamline procurement. Conceptual Design Development & Visualizations: Our interior design team develops comprehensive digital mood boards for each space to define color palettes, material textures, and overall aesthetic directions. In parallel, we create precise spatial design layouts and realistic, photorealistic 3D renderings to provide an accurate representation of the room's finished layout, furniture placement, lighting concepts, and material finishes before physical work or purchasing begins. Final Client Approval & Comprehensive Procurement Hand-Off: Upon the client's final sign-off and approval of all selected materials, finish samples, and finalized spatial design layouts for the renovation, our team will generate and deliver a fully itemized procurement schedule. This detailed breakdown will specify itemized descriptions, quantities, unit prices, and overall cost summaries per room—covering all fixtures, cabinetry, countertops, tile, flooring, and electrical components—to establish complete budget transparency prior to initiating material purchasing and project execution. Final Design Hand-Off & Pre-Renovation Contractor Briefing: Following the client's formal sign-off on all 3D renderings, spatial design layouts, material selections, and project scopes, our team conducts a thorough design hand-off to transition the project into execution. We compile and deliver a comprehensive project package containing finalized layouts, photorealistic 3D renderings, complete client design notes, precise architectural measurements, and detailed material procurement schedules. To ensure total operational alignment and a seamless transition, we schedule and lead a mandatory virtual pre-renovation alignment meeting bringing together the client, key members of our renovation design team, and the prime contractor. During this conference, we perform a detailed walkthrough of all technical specifications, review on-site conditions and measurements, address pre-construction inquiries, clarify responsibilities, and establish clear timelines so all stakeholders possess the exact information required to commence physical site construction with confidence. Order Tracking & Procurement Logistics Management: Our team actively monitors, tracks, and manages all online orders, material procurements, and product shipments in real time. We maintain ongoing coordination with vendor logistics teams and trade suppliers to verify delivery schedules and preemptively resolve potential backorders or transit delays. By ensuring that all essential materials, fixtures, and custom finishes arrive on site precisely when needed, we mitigate project slowdowns, protect construction momentum, and ensure the complete renovation remains on schedule through to the target date of completion. Final Styling, Furnishing & Home Staging Execution: Upon the successful completion of all physical renovation and construction activities, followed by a detailed site cleaning, our interior design team initiates the final styling and home staging phase. We oversee the delivery, positioning, and white-glove installation of all sourced furniture, custom drapery, lighting fixtures, decorative rugs, and artwork. Every living space—including high-impact areas such as primary living rooms, kitchens, dining spaces, and bedrooms—is styled down to the finest detail, incorporating accent accessories, decorative pillows, throws, and counter styling to transform the property into a fully realized, cohesive, and move-in-ready sanctuary tailored to the client's total satisfaction.
