FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to get to know each client, and what they hope to get out of the shoot. During the planning process, I like to use images and examples to ensure we are on the same page creatively. My goal is always to get each client the most variety and bang for their buck so I like to choose locations with a lot of different options and elements. I plan the shoot at a time that is best for lighting to get that magical natural light look. I also help with clothing by offering suggestions or giving advice on what clients already have. Come day of, we have a super laid back shoot. My main goal is to make you comfortable, having a good time and of course looking your best! After our shoot I painstakingly retouch each image to make sure they are perfect before I deliver them to you. Typically the process takes no more than 2 weeks!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My most valuable education has been practical. Each shoot is a chance to learn and grow, and I’ve used every opportunity to improve. I also studied cinematography at the New York Film Academy. It gave me a great technical knowledge of both photography and film but nothing can complete with real world experience.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started shooting at 15, when I purchased my first camera for a trip abroad and haven’t put it down since. It was an outlet for me through high school, it grew to become my passion and I am fortunate enough now to call it my work.
