Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: My mission is to help horse owners form lifelong partnerships with their horses. I was taught most of what I know by a lifelong friend from the time I was a small boy. He spent years investing in my life and showing me how to understand horses, how to read their body language, and how to know what they are saying so we can build a working relationship. Trust and communication is the key! No, I don't have any fancy certifications, but if you'll give me the chance, I'll help you develop a lifelong partnership with your horse. I count it as a privilege and dream come true each and every time I get to spend time doing what I love, and I look forward to meeting you and your horses.

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I do a lot of horse training from ground work with foals to refreshing the older senior horses. Got a young buck that was just gelded and needs some calming down? Got an older horse that's gone sour? Got a sweet little filly that you want to be able to ride someday? You name it, I've built partnerships with all kinds of people and horses. I also give horse riding lessons and help new horse owners learn how to do everything from what grain to give the horse to how to pick out those hooves.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

When looking for a trainer, have him/her come out to meet your horse. Don't just trust that credentials and high prices make a good trainer. Watch him/her interact with your horse. How does he interact with you? How does the horse respond? This is about a partnership....with you and your horse.
