- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Contact the customer, assess the customer's needs, set an appointment, confirm before travel, meet with customer on the day of appointment, troubleshoot, and diagnose issue, initiate repair, collect payment, if parts are needed order them, schedule a second visit, install parts, check functionality, collect payment.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I purchased my first computer in 1991. It started as a hobby. I began computer repair and construction of personal computers in 1996. I was employed by QualXServ, (later they became Worldwide Tech Services) from 2007 - 2011.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Primarily I work with individuals with personal computers and laptops.
