Matt gutted and rebuilt my kitchen (working around a new floor installation) in less than 4 weeks; and built a new pergola and a 4-cushion, independent standing swing. He approaches each project with a process. With mine, we talked about what I wanted (or thought I wanted) and he would explain 'why' or 'why not' the project could be accomplished based on the existing construction. He then did research on similar type projects at the library and brought me magazines and books (with the pages marked) showing what he could build in my space. It was a collaborative and creative process working with Matt. He included me in his design thoughts to let me give my approval every step of the way. I am so very satisfied and would definitely hire Matt again. He's just simply, the best!

Wanting a wall of bookcases, I thought would take several days to build, but to my happy surprise it was completed in about two days. The design was especially good, incorporating a window seat with built in storage. The mess was absolutely minimal! Have also been pleased with Matt's electrical light fixture installations. My wife thinks he is wonderful!

Matt (MK Builders) handled our high end home addition from a-z. He was completely hands-on, and worked most of the 9 months alone.....he was extremely easy to work with, knew his business, and the end result is a home addition which looks authentic to the 100 year old house and is very solid indeed. The community are still telling us, after three years, what a wonderful job "we" did.....would use Matt again with no reservation. Great work, easy communication, no problems since!

What an incredible talent! We remodeled our entire home and had to fire the company who did the work. MK came in and redid the work preformed by the other company and made us wish we had hired THEM (MK) in the first place. After that, we hired MK to build our pool house. It is incredible! They built it to perfection, on time and under budget. AND they did not leave a mess behind them. In addition, they checked back a few weeks later--not to Jones for more work, but to make sure we were still satisfied with their work. Oh, we were and we will ALWAYS call on them first for ALL of our construction and/or repair needs--YOU should too!
