Introduction: Shevonn Willis, is the founder and managing attorney of The Smith Willis Firm and has been has been a practicing attorney for over twelve years. Shevonn’s practice concentrates on Business Law as well as Wills, Trusts and Probate. Shevonn is licensed to practice in both Georgia and Illinois and has litigated numerous cases in both state and federal courts. For three consecutive years Shevonn was recognized by “Super Lawyers”, a rating service of outstanding lawyers from more than 70 practice areas who have attained a high-degree of peer recognition and professional achievement and was also named one of the Top Women Attorneys in Illinois in the Super Lawyers Spotlights The Top Women Attorneys in Illinois in October of 2013 of Chicago Magazine. Prior to forming The Smith Willis Firm, Shevonn was an attorney with Tressler, LLP, a full-service, national law firm headquartered in Chicago, Illinois. Shevonn received her undergraduate degree from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign and her law degree from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Shevonn is a graduate of Leadership Gwinnett and the Georgia Association of Women Layers Leadership Academy and has shown a commitment to her community through her volunteer services which includes serving on the boards of several not-for-profit organizations. Shevonn currently serves on the boards of Gwinnett County Rotary Club, Rainbow Village, Inc. and Gwinnett Coalition for Health and Human Services.
