I recently hired EPPS to fix my doorbell and install outlets, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The quality of his work was outstanding, and everything was done with precision and care. It's a shame Thumbtack only allows one to choose three of the five qualities they have listed. If I could have selected all five, I would have. Punctuality, Value, Work Quality, Professionalism and Responsiveness. Epps Electric LLC is all that and more.
Upon reading the profile for Epps Electric LLC, I had a strong feeling that they should be the contractor I needed. Then the minute I spoke with Larry, I knew for sure that I was going to hire them. I sent them a detailed description of what I needed along with a few pictures. Larry called immediately and we set up an appointment for us to meet and discuss the jobs in more detail. I needed additional security lightinginstalled and an exterior above-door light including a new light switch for it. I also needed a lightswitch moved and an additional outlet installed.
Larry and his brother Greg started work immediately. They purchased all the materials needed and Larry sent pictures to me of various styles of lighting for me to choose. (This saved me from having to do the shopping myself, which I am eternally grateful for.)
Larry kept me informed of their progress throughout the day which gave me the opportunity to ask questions and give my opinion where needed. They kept the work area clean and did a final check of the area when they did the final walk-through with me.
Despite the many things I needed to have done and the work they needed to do get the job done properly and professionally, they managed to complete the job in one day.
I am beyond pleased with the completed work and it didn't cost me an arm and a leg. I am so pleased with everything from start to finish that I've already asked them for a quote for another job I want to have done.
I definitely and highly recommend Epps Electric LLC to anyone who needs any type of electrical work done. You won't be disappointed.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
They should know that we do offer them and that the more you get the more you save. We also give discounts to veterans, first responders, as well as educators. My wife is an educator and I know the work it entails lol.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We strive to respond to all inquiries in under 2 minutes. We call, message, voicemail, and text to demonstrate our urgency to take care of our customers. We always like to either speak directly or in person with our customers first and foremost to get a more accurate scope of the project as this allows us to accurately quote the job. We will pick up any needed materials for the customer so that they don’t have to deal with the hassle. We communicate throughout the entire job with them as to make sure we stay on the same page. After everything is complete to their satisfaction we offer a lifetime warranty on our installations. Also if there is anything else the customer may need or require we don’t hesitate to fill that request.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have over 10,000 On Job Training hours under my belt. Worked for a number of companies across a wide range of locations throughout the U.S I’m a licensed journeyman electrician. I still retain great standings with all of my previous employers, especially my Foreman’s. In addition I have been doing electrical on my on with my brother for almost 4 years and there truly isn’t a better feeling then running the family business with pride and a smile.
