Bears Moving Co is one of only two state-licensed moving companies on Thumbtack in Georgia, ensuring full compliance with all legal requirements, including comprehensive mover's insurance on Thumbtack.
Our minimum service charge for a two-hour period is $300, which includes two movers and a 16ft truck.
All necessary moving equipment and furniture pads are provided.
For any time exceeding the initial two hours, an additional charge of $125 per hour, or $62.50 per half-hour, will apply.
A $35 surcharge will be applied for moves involving third-floor apartments without elevator access and/or three-story homes, per location.
Estimates for three-person crews are available upon request.
Homes with three or four bedrooms may incur an additional trucking fee.
Pricing for piano relocation services is separate and will also account for stairs at both the origin and destination.

My entire experience with Bears Moving Co was positive. They made it easy to request an estimate, and within 15 minutes they provided me a flat-rate fee with a detailed, transparent explanation of their pricing if the move were to take longer than expected. From there, the scheduling process was easy, and in the days leading up to my move, they sent me automated messages to confirm the details, which made me feel confident they would show up as scheduled.
On the day of the move, they actually showed up a little early. They asked a few questions about what needed to be loaded in their truck, and then they quickly got to work. They had everything loaded within an hour. From there, they safely delivered everything to my storage unit - I didn’t have to lift a finger.
Most importantly, there were no surprise charges. They took payment by Zelle for exactly the price they told me as an estimate.

I would 20/10 recommend Bears Moving Company!!! I was super stressed and down to the wire on a move and found Bears, they met and exceeded my expectations and provided the smoothest move out I have ever had! From reaching out to request a quote to finishing my move they delivered on communication, efficiency, reliability, friendly service, and handling my belongings with care. The team arrived early and while the main elevator at my apartment was down they were able to quickly pivot and use the alternative elevator and still completed my move in 3 hours! This even included an extra stop to donate furniture. I will be hiring Bears again soon for another project and have already recommended them to my family. Thanks for helping me make an effortless move!

This is the second time I booked them to move. I had such a great experience the first time and knew this would go smoothly and would be stressful free.
