About this pro
We take pride in producing quality garments, and will not sell a garment that we wouldn't wear personally. It is very gratifying to take a piece of fabric and a thought (or pattern) and produce a wearable garment that someone would be proud to wear.

- How did you get started doing this type of work?I've been sewing since I was 12, my mother is a seamstress, and her mother was a seamstress. So I guess you can say, "It's in my genes" :-) It wasn't until 2010 that I decided to sew for hire. The economy was bad, and I had a skill (sewing) that I wasn't using fully, that could help me support my family. So, it kind of took off from there.
- What types of customers have you worked with?Dresses, skirts, and alterations.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?My favorite story is that I got to make an informal wedding gown for a client. We had a few hiccups along the way, but everything worked out in the end. She invited me to her wedding and to see her walk down the isle in a garment that I made was truly gratifying :-)
