Hello thumbtack world. Been gone for a while due to high work volume over past 9 yrs, but im back. I am owner and lead tech with over 25 yrs exp installing flooring and bathroom renovations. I am a third generation master tile installer who has all the knowledge of flooring installation and remodels specializing in tile and wood. Also when a customer hire my company, i will be the actual installer. Therefore customers deal with me directly if theres any questions or concern.
First i dont consider it my job, i think of it as my passion. I enjoy the the happiness i give to my customers upon the completion of all my projects. i take pride in every project i do, big or small. i also love doing the unthinkable and challenging projects.

Absolutely amazing. His work and workmanship is out of this world. I have hired him for 2 bathroomremodels and they both came out way better than expected!! The quality of his work is top notch. He does not skip corners. He is very thorough and explains everything so there are no surprises. Quality material and quality work. Soon to start project number 3 for me! Wouldn't hire anyone else!

DeAngello (Legacy Designs) gets an A++. We hired DeAngello for a bathroomremodel; specifically a new tile/glass walk in shower. He (and crew) were fantastic: Always responsive, provided professional input to help with the design, and the end-result was perfect. DeAngello did a great job with our tile project. We needed to patch and repair our shower after a leak and he brought some great ideas to the table and then executed them beautifully and quickly. We would definitely hire DeAngello again.

First off I would like to say the level of professionalism that Mr. Plather provided was awesome. He gave my wife and I options, he listened to our needs and wants and he helped us update the look of our master bath room with an amazing tiled custom shower. Mr. Plather has a very creative mind and very deligent with his work. He got in and out in the time we agreed upon, We couldn't be happier. We would recommend Mr. Plather for any custom shower remodel / renovation. He is the real deal!

I do have standard prices, but each project varies because of possible additional work
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
i meet face to face first to make sure theres trust built. allow them to ask any questions pertaining to the project. once i show all of my knowledge and passion for the project, we move forward which usually ends of with me fulfilling all their desires.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
attend college at Virginia Military Institute where my studies was in economics/business
