M We hired Mike to do a small project and ended up having him do several projects around our house. We had him install new doors, install stairs, repair fence and build a small arbor. He has done a great job with everything! I would highly recommend him to anyone!

I charge $100 for the first hour and $60 for each additional hour.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been working in the home improvement industry from the time I was 16 and worked for various companies learning many different building techniques. I started my own business in 1981. I started out doing masonry work and then added carpentry and siding to my list of services. I started Delaware Valley Decks in 1991, designing and building custom decks and room additions.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started while I was still in high school. Working for a general contractor as a helper. After graduating school I started my business, installing patios, decks,concrete, stucco and stone walls. Around 1986 I started working on more carpentry work.
