Introduction
At Music Moments students are focused on learning. Kindermusik classes are taught to intentionally link music to learning new words, problem solving, creativity, and making new friends. Piano lessons are taught with attention to detail, watching for and preventing potential problems. Singers learn how to strengthen their vocal chords so that the voice is balanced ready to sing any style. I love seeing students succeed with unique challenges. For example, I had two sets of siblings play piano duets in our last recital and the children rose to the challenge!

Kindermusik has helped our daughter shape who she is today and where she will be in the future. She is always learning, both through observations and first-hand experiences. Miss Bonnie is a great teacher and does it with sincerity.

FAQs

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I love music, and even after a lot of 8am practices in college, I still love it! I've always loved it since my dad sang to me as I grew up. Plus my mom used to teach me huge vocabulary words! That's it, I was destined to be a Kindermusik Educator and piano/singing instructor.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Choose a teacher whose personality fits with your child's. Choose a teacher who will teach and explain music theory, not just give aural examples. Choose a musical instrument and stick with lessons, through thick and thin.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I want you to know that music is NOT a luxury, just for those who are "talented" or an "extra". Rather music education, intentionally taught in developmentally appropriate ways, is an essential part of your child's education. Start with Kindermusik, keep learning through piano and voice, developing learning, love for music, and then developing talent and technique. Doing so will give you music learning for life!
